The “Most Important” Facade

#alignment #externalvalidation #lettinggo #radicaldedication #selfdiscovery

The stress we put on the “most important” things in life is so dogmatic.

A certain job.

A certain income.

A certain amount of children.

A certain partnership.

A certain life plan.

These “most important” things are just ideas and notions of what we believe will make us safe in a future timeline that we have not experienced yet. I am more interested in the willingness of a person to flow with the waves of an ever-evolving life, an ever-changing and inconsistent human experience. We create these boxes to put people and ideas in alike. And when these people, when these ideas, begin to color outside the lines of the box we forced them into, we blame life for a shitty hand.

Is it not more important to be rooted in beliefs that serve us and embody our higher selves before we expect an imaginary external world to depict a facade of happiness?

When did we start putting vital dependence on the external byproducts of what we want to feel internally?

Do we really think we will be happy by giving external validation the power to dictate our successes, all while our internal environment is chaos?

We truly have nothing in this life if not ourselves. If we wish to see true embodiment of change and loosen our grip on what we “should” crown most important, we must first let go of our programming on what made us believe these things were “most important” in the first place; and then we can begin defining what it is that is a truthful expression of our internal world. This takes work. This takes time. Living an aligned life takes radical dedication to you.

The world will only ever serve as an outward reflection of internal selves. When we begin to define our “most importants” for ourselves, the external byproduct is then just a reflection of our intentionally-cultivated internal environment. Challenge what you were told to be an absolute truth. Then challenge it again. If it isn’t true to your soul, let it go, and make room for truths that are a resounding “yes”. This is where the journey begins. This is where reality shifts and quantum leaps take place. This is how generational curses are broken.
